I've known a few folks who have been taken to the cleaners in real estate scams, where the agents falsely represent a house being purchasing at a highly inflated price (using their own appraisers). Seems that this is what Mr. Dan was accused of by the Jason, the first report on RipOffReport.com. Clearly there are (were) a lot of thieves out there...
While searching about Las Vegas real estate frauds, I came across this entertaining thread... It struck me that a supposed 'rich guy' like Dan sure seems paranoid about a few allegations that would/should be trivial at best with all of the money Dan has. So it begs the question, why is Dan so defensive? Perhaps because it might be true and he is scrambling to protect his fragile, fraudulent name. I know a few folks with money, and not only do they not have the time to worry about what might be out on the web about them, but woulod never waste their time on claims such as these, especially "if" they felt or knew the claims to be false. Not to mention, this Dan guy has a gutter mouth, which is inconsistent with anyone worth millions and millions! Sorry Mr. Dan, credibility non-existent!
It is truly telling to see a guy put so much effort into and put on such a 'show' to make people 'think' that he has money!

If your wondering about the investigation, look up the court file in PACE. As for the address he lists as his, he has no affiliation with that address.

My wife and I were both scammed by Dan Spencer. He took our 75,000 in equity and ran. I continue to look for him today. I will find him, it's just a matter of time. The FBI showed up at our door about a year ago to discuss Dan Spencer . I have not heard anything from them since.
Dan promised real estate deals worth thousands of dollars. Said we would be able to quit our jobs and live the good life. All kinds of Bullsh*t!!! me being a law abiding citizen, I thought i would let the FBI handle it. Its been over a year, now it's my turn.
Dan, if you read this, let it be known, i want my money, and i'm not going to stop until I find you and make you PAY Dearly. You have no idea what suffering is all about, but I can assure you, if I find you, you will.
