Complaint Review: Danilo Rippa R.G.A. - E.G.A. Emporio Jackets

Ok. He got off lucky today (3-31-07). So, i live in New York city and im on my lunch brake around 5pm when this guy pulls up next to me in silver Chevrolet Equinox asking if i speak Italian so i say NO. He then asks if i know how to get to Midtown Tunnel with this thick italian accent.

So i try to help him out but no matter what i say he says he doesnt understand me. So i ask him if he has a map, and he hands me the map (big mistake. you have a well detailed map of NYC and ask for directions?). So i show him how to get to 36th st. to take the tunnel, he then says in return for my help he will do something for me.

Says that he just left Jacob K. Javits Center after a fashion convention (mistake #2: I work in hospitality industry and know what is going on at Javits center) and he goes on with that BS "i work for Giorgio Armani and im going back to Italy and I have three jackets i dont wanna pay taxes for , blah bla bla..." and says i can have three jackets for $700.

I tell im i like the jackets but i have no cash on me so he askes if i have credit card and i tell him NO. He then askes if i have cash at home and i say YES (with "are you gonna drive me home to get it?" look on my face).

At the end of it all he asked for my cell (which i gave him). The number that poped up on my cell has 201 area code so its for New Jersey. So i was like "OK... You live in Italy but you have Jersey cell number and Jersey plates?" in my head.

So i go online just to see what the real jacket looks like and stumble on this site

He called me later that day just to make sure i'll take the jackets. If my friends were up for some "fun" i would have been his last customer.

I have this guys phone number and his plates number. So if anyone wants to get this guy let me know on here. I dont like to deal with cops so im not gonna report him, and i didnt get riped-off after all. Meanwhile im off to meet some new friends cuz the ones i have now are pussies or cant be reached when you need them.
