Bogus Car Crash, Criminal Intent: Exposé Reveals Danny Crichigno's Unfounded Lawsuit

Danny Crichigno, 58, of 2814 Avenue Z in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn, NY is well known in the neighborhood for his litigious ways. Every couple of years, he comes up with a new personal injury lawsuit against someone or a company—his last NYS Supreme Court lawsuit was only a few years earlier, seeking millions of dollars in compensation for a fake trip-and-fall [  https://trellis.law/case/36047/516696-2019/danny-crichigno-v-home-depot-u-s-a-inc  ] at the Cropsey Avenue Home Depot  in Brooklyn [  https://dannycrichigno.yolasite.com/  ].  It was quickly disposed. Some call him a scammer, others called him a sociopathic manipulator. But no one could deny that Danny Crichigno is determined to make a quick buck off others’ backs, no matter the cost—to the tune of half a million dollars in his most recent litigation.

His latest phony NYS Supreme Court case filed June 27, 2023 is against Alexandra Fuzlaylova, Alfa Romeo Fiat of Westbury and Westbury Fiat LLC, in which he falsely claims injuries that he supposedly sustained from a car accident at the intersection of Avenue Z and East 27th Street, in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn—a block from where he lives.

According to the litigious Crichigno, it was defendant Alexandra who failed to operate her car safely, leading to his false claims of injury and permanent disability among other highly egregious and bogus allegations. However, he never called the police, hence no police report can validate his claims—because they’re all false! And both attorneys for co-defendants Ms. Fuzlaylova and Alfa Romeo Fiat/Westbury Fiat know—and will prove without a doubt—that Danny Crichigno is committing perjury, making false statements, committing insurance fraud and exploiting the legal system for personal gain.

--------> The co-defendants have moved to dismiss the  fraudulent case and his false allegations at or before trial.

Locals in the Sheepshead Bay community have grown tired of his constant lawsuits, greed for money, deceit and manipulation. A recent investigation reveals the accident was falsified and Crichigno's injuries are nonexistent—court documents state this fact unequivocally.   [   https://trellis.law/case/36047/518617-2023/danny-crichigno-v-alexandra-fuzaylova-alfa-romeo-fiat-westbury-westbury-fiat-llc   ]
Records show that he didn’t seek emergency medical attention and only weeks later, when he saw his PCP, the doctor told Crichigno to just take an over-the-counter pain reliever  [   https://iapps.courts.state.ny.us/nyscef/DocumentList?docketId=k4SdtXg07cjLKzvi3dVeAg==&display=all&courtType=Kings%20County%20Supreme%20Court&resultsPageNum=1   ]
.

--------> Court records show that Crichigno was never prescribed prescription medication nor did he have any surgical procedure for his fake injuries. Furthermore, he was never referred to another medical facility elsewhere for remedial care.

Obviously Crichigno's frivolous lawsuits are purely for financial gain, and unfortunately, it is not uncommon for individuals like him to attempt insurance fraud and to defraud the system in order to receive a large settlement; for Danny Crichigno the prospect of lying to receive $500,000 in extorted funds is too tempting to resist, leading him to engage in fraudulent and criminal behavior to enrich himself handsomely.

--------> As his bogus case moves through the court, it is hoped that presiding honorable Supreme Court Justice Carolyn E. Wade will dispose “with prejudice” his fake case, following the same ruling as the honorable Supreme Court Justice Johnny Lee Baynes in Crichigno’s prior extortion case against Home Depot only 4 years earlier, in 2020  [

   ].

The implications of Crichigno's behavior are far-reaching and deeply concerning. Fraud exponentially drives up costs and car insurance premiums for policyholders and his exploitation of the legal system for personal gain undermines the integrity of the judicial process and erodes public trust in the legal system.

Law enforcement must continue to pursue and prosecute individuals, like Danny Crichigno, to the fullest extent of the law to prevent unscrupulous bad actors like him from engaging in insurance fraud, perjury and criminal acts and in order to deter others from following in Crichigno’s footsteps.

This fraudulent incident serves as a reminder of the importance of upholding ethical standards and respecting the rule of law. Perpetrators like Danny Crichigno should be held accountable for their actions, preferably with lengthy jail sentences and hefty fines. Crime should have consequences.
