Complaint Review: DAP XHOSE

DAP XHOSE Ruptured in two minutes with no replacement nor refund Supposedly missed deadline for full refund by one day. Replacements back ordered 8 to 12 weeks Internet

Ordered and paid for four DAP XHOSE Pro garden hoses. Opened and began using but the hose burst and began spraying more water from the leak than the hose brass nozzel.  Pulled out the next hose and it too began to leak and within minutes became useless.

Pulled out the first smaller hose and gingerly began to water the garden, but it too burst and became useless in a few minutes. Needed to go to work, on the road, but upon return, pulled the last of four hoses out, and very gingerly began using the last remaining, but smaller hose. 

I called the company to ask for a full refund, but supposedly missed the cutoff deadline by one day. I explained that it rains here in the northwest duirng the March / April and May when I first ordered the hoses, and they were slow to arrive to begin with, but the service agent said the guarantee began when I first ordered the hoses, not when the hoses arrived at my house. 

I asked again consideration for a full refund. She said by policy, the only remaining remedy is throw the existing damaged hoses in the garbage, and to order new oses at no charge.She Said the nwe hoses would arrive in four to six weeks. It has been nine weeks, and no sign of any replacement hoses.

It doesn't rain in the summer, and has only recently began to rain. So, I'm off to Ace Hardware to buy regular hosess with no patent pending. This is a horrible company with no record of customer service or sensee of trying to do the minumum to keep customers satishied.
