Dar Waterfront & Associates has sent me to Collections for a bill i do not owe. I paid for a free sample with my

credit card and I have not ordered any more of this product or have i recieved a bill from them before and now

they are trying to collect the amount of $212.00 that they say i owe them. There is no why to get ahold of them by phone.

I'm not sure what to do with this.

The same thing has happened to me. I just received my Collections Letter yesterday in the mail.

The only thing I ever received from this Brio/Allegra company was the test size samples that I also prepaid the $5.00 shipping and handling fee to get. There is a fine print that more would be auto-shipped unless I called in to cancel the order.

I tried their samples and had a horrible reaction to the product. It took 3 weeks to clear up and only after I went to a local Emergency Clinic here to get steroids and antibiotics to clear it up. ($650 later because my insurance deductable had not been met yet.)

I called to cancel the order the day I received and tried it due to that horrible, painful reaction. They assured me everything was cancelled and closed.

I did not receive anymore products from them nor did I get any other communication from them such as a statement for more money.

The local news here did a story on this whole Brio/Allegra scam a couple of weeks ago warning people not to buy it.

I think it's pretty awful that everyone complaining about this company is being given a different dollar amount after only receiving Samples.

I plan on contacting the Texas Attorney General's office here as well as FTC.gov and reporting them and this DarWaterfront Collections. If that is a legitimate Colletions agency, they need to screen their clients a little better. They would see what a scam they are and disconnect from them.
