Darren Robertson Paid Work Never Done Cashion Oklahoma
We used Darren Robertson for some handyman jobs at our rental in Warr Acres, Oklahoma. He did a satisfactory job on several tasks, although he often showed up late or not at all. Because we live 5 hours away, I paid him ahead of time for remaining work. [A poor idea on my part, but we thought we had a trusting relationship.]
The following were paid for in July of 2017, but never completed.
-$45 Hardware for gutters
-$100 Installation of gutters
-$180 Installation of front door
-$65 Proper installation of exterior vinyl shutters
Darren responded to my email about this, with these remarks: "I already spent 3 hrs on the door." **Regardless of time spent, the door is not installed and remains on the floor in the renters' home.
The shutters are up, but attached incorrectly. He did indeed use the screws that we provided, but later said he knew they were not correct for brick. **All he needed to do was communicate that to us, and we would have provided the correct tools.
He did acknowledge the gutters the gutters are not installed, but never scheduled a time to take care of it.
We have copies of the receipts he hand-wrote, and photos.
