Dart Transit does milage drops ripps off owner operators, poor logistics here, threatens violance against drivers Eagan Minnesota

Dart Transit does milage drops and ripps off owner operators by paying less than the miles stated on contract claims paid for all miles, but abusive managers do milage drops and ripp off owner operators. Managers also threaten violance if the owners complain.

Dart tries to get owners to run 850 miles an day solo and to lie on logs. Many owners at Dart break rules and it seems the more hos rules are broken the more Dart lies for them to cover it up.

Besides that, to get paid for 850 miles at Dart Transit you have to run 1100 rand mcnally miles. Dart managers are an bunch of dummies. Oren is such an jack #ss he can not controle his managers or drivers.

If I was Oren I would start cleaning house and find some mathmatically sound managers that are one honest. two fair and reasonable. Three have no tolerance for milage dropping and HOS violation. Dart, also tries to dump recycled paper pay by weight ( 7 dollars per ton) on owners at 1000 miles. So, loads like that pay $130. for 1000 miles. Oren is an baffoon. Do not contract to Dart.

Owners group.

Due to the bottom falling out of the oilfield...I bought another truck and leased it on to Dart.....Again.....
Now the onlw issue I am having is with payroll loosing (misplacing) trips...... I think its "J-SCAN"... But no sooner than I let dispatch know.... its paid... so I repeat...... The person or persons unknown that started this report.. is a MORON and know nothing of the industry....let alone Dart........so again I say...."GROW UP"

This complaint is just so stupid and WRONG. I hope Dart comes after you for Slander.

I was a very pleased contractor for Dart for 4 yrs.

Sound to me like someone couldn't or wouldn't run his truck like a business and want to fault someone else

GROW UP

I'm equally baffled at the complaint...

Dart Transit may not be the best place to land, but they are far from the worst. None of the complaints are justified by evidence that would substantiate them.

The "Oren" he is referring to, I assume would be the Oren family, who owns the company.

The safety statistics that can be publicly accessed also refute the assertions of "Owners Group", which is a very suspicious name to be dropping in a public forum to offer a complaint. If all of these so called people were being pushed to run so many miles, the safety stats would prove it to be true. Dart Transit has a very good set of stats currently, and given the fact that they RELY upon independent operators, that's rather remarkable. It's not easy to keep those who operate their own trucks in line with the safety rules, so they're doing something right.

I also tend to doubt the charge that owners are being made to haul loads 1000 miles for $130 a load. The company would stand to lose revenue as well. It isn't happening.

It's not hard to see what the deal is. The demeanor of the writer is quite evident.

Dart may not be perfect or suitable company for all, but they generate very few complaints, given the size of the company when contrasted to other companies their size.

I am currently a lease operator for dart transit and would like to say that this persons report is false. Nothing more than a upset driver makeing up tall trucker stories we all have heard them now hear the truth from a current driver.

First things first dart pays by rand mcnally HHG miles which everyone knows is from city limit to city limit. Bigger cities pay less miles than smaller cities they usually average 10% more miles driven than miles paid. I have averaged 5% more miles driven than miles paid because i usa a gps, street finder and a truck routing program to pre plan all my loads.

850 miles in one day no way at dart. Dart has what is called a 750 rule meaning that if you run more than 750 miles in a day someone is going to find out why. as far as why this driver runs 850 well thats no diffrent than anyone who drives over the speed LIMIT. We all can see that he has to falsify his logs to go that many miles.

I know of no oren who works for the company but i can say that after reading this drivers complaint im shure he didnt call up and discuss his problem profesionaly, he probably just started running off at the mouth and if i was oren i wouldnt have put up with it either.
