Complaint Review: Daryl Auxier

 Having known Mr Daryl Auxier for 10 years has been a odd experiance.As a Florida Dot Road Contractor I had to deal with Auxier as an inspector.The first few months were normal contractor/inspector relationship.He was employed by a large civil engineering firm and came off as a nice fair man,by the book,smart but fair.During the construction of a large multi million dollar road project  in central Florida Daryl Auxier true motives materialized.In return for favorable reports Auxier would expect cash kick backs in the beginning which is normal in this business.After supplying Daryl Auxier with nice dinners,expensive bottles of scotch,vacations all was well for 18 months or so.The firm he was employed by was very large and keeping him happy was just an inconvenience in the beginning.After the 2 year mark Auxier started to expect more,becoming greedy in my opinion,cash,dinners etc was no longer enough he started expecting sexual favors,not with my self but with younger male escorts,he seemed to like younger men.Being a businessman cash is one thing but sexual favors was the limit,he would hit on and select younger mexican men that  in his words were could we provide him with hotel rooms,willing bisexual men. This was the end of any kickbacks and are inspection reports were failed due to not keeping him happy.Upon further investigation of Daryl Auxiers background we learned he was fired from a city inspection job in 1986 over kick backs.We brought all this to the attention of his employer and he was fired 10 months ago or so over this.I am only reporting this as a heads up to anyone whom may encounter him in the highway construction business in central Florida,hopefully he wont hold any more positions where he can expect things from honest folks just trying to make a living.A word of caution if anyone ever encounters this man,he never came off like this in the beginning but someone like him should never hold a position of power with any firm
