In December 2011 we spoke with Al regarding his programs on a daily basis and attending his live webinars.  Once purchase of the entire package was made, including 40million B2B leads, he was difficult to get a hold of.  We were assured from the beginning that the data was cleaned, verified and free of all spam traps and we were also told that he could provide IP addresses for the opt-ins.  The program came with a 300+page user guide and you needed to hire multiple different people (by his recommendation of course) to set it up for you.  To use this program, you needed to create a large number of domains to use in the program that would "rotate" email addresses, IP addresses, subject lines, from lines, reply to lines, etc. so you can have it set to send out thousands of emails a day. 

After weeks of getting the program set up, we started our first campaign.  Out of 21 domains, we were suspended and blacklisted on 17 of them within the first day.  We struggled to find answers and sent many emails to Al asking for technical support.  If he did bother to answer, he would just copy some random person on the email and I would never hear back from them.

We were assured that the data was "spam free", yet when we would get him on the phone he would suggest making up fake names, more email addresses, adding re: and fwd: to the subject line to trick a recipient to open the mail.  We knew that was against the Can-Spam Act and were not trying to spam our potential clients.  I decided to clean 26million myself, which was a very time consuming task since all I could do was ctl alt find and search for words.  It took me 14 days working all day and night.  I emailed him thousands of porn and profanity words that I pulled out and asked why would they be in a specific SIC search that we did.  Of course the response was "wow".

We decided not to use the emailer part of the program and took the leads to Simply Cast, Mailchimp and Constant Contact.  All 3 services we have used successfully with our own generated leads and we lost all 3 accounts along with all credits we had in them.  This was after I spent 2 straight weeks cleaning his data by hand. 

After spending thousands of dollars, we purchased dedicated servers to help us.  Spamhaus notifed me that there were multiple spam traps in our data.  Old emails that were no longer in use are turned into spam traps.  If you hit them, they shut you down because of the age of the dormant address.  We have tried to contact Al multiple times asking for a full refund on what we spent on his data and programs and did not ask for the additional thousands of dollars his spam free data cost us.

Do Not get suckered into this.  The cost of the program and data does not stop once you pay him.  You will pay more, and more, and more and more and you will never receive a timely response.  After I sent him three emails requesting a refund, he continued to send me his pitch on all of these new programs he's working on.  I've since stopped receiving them so that tells me he finally comprehended what I asked for in the emails. 

We have every single email communication sent to him, his responses, etc.  I never delete anything.  I also have Spamhaus email proving that his Opt-In and spam free data, is a straight faced lie.

You will just deny everything and nothing will be resolved.  It's funny, the only reason I found this website and another one is because once again after you would not respond to our pleas for help and reimbursement, I did a google and found complaints from others.  Reading their complaints were the same we have experienced.  I am sure you have many happy customers, but you also have some unhappy customers who have tried to resolve issues with you and you ignored them.
You offered us happy customers to talk to, and we did, but we also found one that wasn't happy.  He too had the same trouble we did.  Talking with him was like talking with myself. He tried to resolve it with you, but you didn't take his calls, nor did you call him back and you didn't respond via email either.  


We paid a total of $1995 to you since we bought everything...plus the additional cost of all of the domains, the clone website, the labor to set up the program, the cost of new domains etc.  Do not try and tell me we didn't spend thousands of dollars.  It would have been more, because you see, I physically sent 30million of your records to a company to clean it for me.  After they went through the painsaking task of cleaning it and verifying for real, they ended up with 1.5 verified email addresses.  We refused to pay what they wanted so bagged your stuff and walked away. 

You can argue with me all you want, it does not change the truth.  I have an entire office watch me struggle through 6 months of dealing with this and my family for all of the personal time I spent at home off hours trying to make it work.

The first step is admitting when you are wrong.

What you are saying makes no sense.

If what you say was true why then aren't there hundreds of ripoff reports filed?

Why do we have so many people providing referrals?

What is your name so I can look up the sale and see what you really spent compared to the THOUSANDS that you claim you spent?

SMTP's cost $3 a month on average ( $15 per million to email) So how did you spend so much?

If the data was bad as you claim you would have stopped at  a few dollars per month and not have spent THOUSANDS as you claim you spent.

I really think that you just didn't know what you were doing and had a crap product to sell and got no leads because of your crap product and need to blame others than yourself.

The emailer had a week trial period. Obviously you bought it because it worked.

Go ahead and pay Contant Contact $15 to email 25,000 instead of using our software that allows you to email for $15 per million.

I am not going to waste my time and copy and paste everything you say.  I will tell you that I have all of the original downloaded data from your data bank.  It is full of spam traps and porn and profanity.  I have the communciations with spamhaus.  I have any and all communications and attempts at communications with you.  I do not delete anything.  Spamhaus told me the data is what caused the blacklisting.  How can you accuse me of lying when I have it?  I am happy to forward it to anyone that wants it.

 The cost of this program does not stop at purchase because your suggestions to successfully use it, build a clone website, purchase at least 15 to 20 domains, hire your suggestion to set up the emailer, hire another to make up a bunch of fake email addresses, it goes on and on and on and on.  That all starts to add up, especially when you lose your clone you just paid for 1 day after running your data through the program.  17 domains cancelled either because of blacklisting or emails from the domains stating that although we are not over our daily email limit, we are close, therefore, we were asked to provide IP addresses and how the recipient optin.  You admitted, after me asking you for it at least 3 times, YOU COULD NOT PROVIDE IT BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T HAVE IT.

 Your 2pm live webinar, I've been there.  More than once.  I don't like the way you treat people and make fun of them after they leave.  I also don't have an hour to cut out of my work day to go to a webinar to ask HEY AL DID YOU GET THE DATA BACK FROM THE CLEANER?? That is ridiculous.  You should focus on customer support for those of us that needed tech help that you just didn't have time for. 

 We asked you for a refund, more than once.  If you read your emails, you'd have seen that.  You also would have seen us ask you to please call us to discuss what we found out from Spamhaus.  It's all there, in one of your rotating emailboxes!!!!!

We have 3,000 customers so if what this guy says was true we would have several hundred rip-off reports. My competitors cannot compete with us. Dont be misled by anonymous posts that are our competitors plants.

What is so comical about this post is that every customer is able to use our email software for a week free trial and download several thousand data records of their choice at no cost to try.

Consider:
The guy says: After spending thousands of dollars, we purchased dedicated servers to help us. 
Thousands of dollars!!! This makes NO SENSE! Look at our pricing on our purchase page and you will see that people can buy 10 million data and get 2 software licenses for $590. Cant you tell a set-up when you see it!

The anonymous post says: The cost of the program and data does not stop once you pay him.  There are no fees paid to us once you own the data and software! This is just nonsense from competitors that sell data for many times what we can afford to do because of our economies of scale.

The anonymous post says that I can not be located but this is so absurd since for 4 years I do a LIVE Question and Answer Webinar Monday thru Friday at 2pm eastern.

The posts says that there were spam traps in the data but that is also not true as the data is cleaned by Data Genie and QuickieMarketing.

No other Data supplier has ever won Information Managements Innovative Solutions Award for data Warehousing which includes the cleaning of the data daily.

The anonymous post claims that the person took WEEKS to set up a simple desktop emailer that takes 15 minutes to set up if you are slow! Additionally if these people contacted others to help them why did it take WEEKS to set up?

The anonymous post says that he spent 2 weeks cleaning data by hand--day and night! This is actually what the guy claims! Who would do that? This is a BS post that simply shows how far the competition is going to try and compete---but they can't!

We accept all credit cards so if this really happened why didn't the guy simply charge the purchase back if it really happened? If this nonsense really did take place then we would have lost our merchant account many years ago.

This anonymous post actually claims that Spamhaus contacted him which anyone in the email industry knows Spamhaus does not do.

This whole ANONYMOUS post sounds like the competition who simply can not compete with us because we sell full record opt-in data with all opt-in criteria at rates that they can not afford to do. Additionally our email software allows people to email for under $15 per million.

Just look at the website and see the PDF on the lower right hand corner and see at the end of that PDF the names and websites of many customers that love what we do for them.
