Data Entry Staff Leasing Company; Tim Davis TG Tech, Sara Mayers,Cindy James; Dell, Donald Burkeen; Horizons West Data Entry scam on Jobplanet and Craigslist under Horizons West; sent resume and received 3 different emails from different people Internet
I responded to an add on Jobplanet for Horizons West for Multi-tasking Online Virtual Assistant. (Horizons West is a real company, by the way...and I'm sure they don't know what these people are doing). So the add seemed legit. I applied and sent my resume to them.
I then received notification that my resume had been sent (from Jobplanet). Within 1 hour I received the following email:

Thank goodness for this website! I was literally one click away from sending money on Western Union to some lady in Texas --> Name: Cassandra Hinshaw City : Rowlett, State : TX Zipcode : 75089.
These guys are good. They knew I was in the accounting field and gave me the names of all of these legit accounting softwares. They told me I needed to buy 2 of the software and they would send the rest. Dale Walker is the name of the fellow who interviewed me on yahoo messenger. He had good answers to my billion questions, but once they wanted some money from me I immediately started searching online.
Don't get fooled by them telling you they want you to buy the software to earn your trust. I just didn't understand why I needed to buy the software if they were just going to "pay me back" in my first paycheck.
I still have no idea if this company was going to rip me off or not, I'm just glad I didn't lose any money. I felt it was weird that after a few hours of this mess, when I finally told Dale that I am terribly sorry for wasting his time, but that I don't feel comfortable going forth, that he just quickly replied, "Okay have a nice day." This made me feel a little better that after informing him that I found negative reports online, that he was so quick to get away from the transaction as well!!

It's all the same thing. I've gotten that email maybe 10 times now. I went on yahoo messenger once just to screw with them, and it's the same thing. Don't give them any money!!!
