I signed up for my first speed dating event on Valentine's Day.  I went online and paid the $35 to secure my spot at the event.   I got dressed up and went out to the event, after refusing several different options so I could go to this one.  I arrived at the restaurant on time, and I was promptly informed that the restaurant was too full to accommodate our speed dating event.  Apparently there was not a reservation holding our place.

Disappointed, I contacted the Date & Dash customer service and requested my money back.  I received an e-mail from Vilius Gavrilenka telling me that he did make a reservation and that the restaurant is at fault.  He said that my money is not refundable, and I was welcome to choose a different event to attend.

I looked at the website, and the next qualifying event would be months away... I told Vilius that I would understand the non-refund-ability of the charge if the event was not canceled.  I referenced the e-mail he sent to the restaurant telling them that there would be online reviews about this.  I told him that I too am aware of yelp and bbb and should have looked up the reviews before signing up, and that I didn't see any notice that the fee was non-refundable.  I again asked for my money back.

He sent an e-mail telling me to "contact the venue."

The measure of a company is not if there will be problems.  It is how they deal with the problems as they come up.  This man had no regard for my time or my money.
