Complaint Review: DAV Publishing GmbH Deutscher Apotheker Verlag Buchhandlung GmbH

I received a check #16847 from Crown Refrigeration Supply, 1RE Michel Dr., Glen Burnie, MD in the amount of $4626. The check was counterfeit, thank goodness my bank discovered this before I withdrew money to send.


I was told the person I was to send the money to via Western Union (Albertas Juodzius - Riga, Latvia)was out of town and I was given instructions to wire the funds directly from my account to a private account. The account name: Hendrik Kazakevic; the bank name: AB Bankas "Hansabankas" in Vilinius, Lithuania. The intermediary bank: Bankers Trust Co, New York, USA.

Frank Happel and Peter Siebs are pretty slick...But not slick enough. My bank is sending me a copy of the conterfeit check, at that point I'll be phoning FBI, Phoenix, AZ and reporting everything.
