Biographical Sketch
David Racer
Author, essayist, public speaker and broadcast personality, Dave Racer has built his
career on studying public policy and communicating his informed views in a clear and
engaging fashion.
Racer's experience in the health care sector goes back to his days as editor of The Reece
Report, a newsletter for physicians, where he observed and analyzed the twists and turns
of U.S. health care policy. As an author of Your Health Matters: What You Need to Know
About U.S. Health Care, and FACTS: Not Fiction, Racer combined his experience with
the professional employee benefits background of Gregory Dattilo to create two highly
researched and well reasoned analyses of America's health care system.
Racer serves on the Industry Advisory Council of the HSA Coalition, and also as a
member if its Executive Committee. He is the president and chief executive officer of
Alethos Press LLC, a publisher of nonfiction works in the areas of health care, American
history, and government policy. Books by Racer cover true crime, political and social
commentary, Christian and secular fiction, and biographies. Racer's works include Death
by Design, Caged Bird, America's Creed, Two Weeks That Will Last Forever, and
American Christians and Government. He has also edited and published several books by
other authors.
An instructor for many years on American government as seen through the eyes of the
founding fathers and citizen participation in the making of public policy, Racer studied
educational psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of
Minnesota and Macalester College.
The host of The Dave Racer Show on Twin Cities radio during the 1990s, he earlier was
The editor and publisher of a monthly newspaper dealing with public affairs issues. Some Allegations came about after an incident at the state capital surfaced with parental concern. In 1995 Racer settled in court with the parents of the children that accused Racer of inappropriate contact with their children. The settlement ended in 1996 with a settlement of $42,000 that was to be spit between the two families.
Racer also served as executive director of Minnesota Proposition 180 Degrees, and the
Minnesota Employers' Roundtable, both of which were small business advocacy groups.

The article on David Racer by both the minneapolis and st. paul newspapers have withdrawn their articles from the mainstream web. This is yet another representation of corruption with the rebublican party. This man should be fully investigated with what really happened. I have been trying to dig up anything with court records and the the names of the two families.Racer also has affilations with known men that have had involvement with homosexual tendencies in the past.
