Dave Schmidt/ San Juan Pools Cape Coral Florida, San Juan Pools Inc Cape Coral, San Juan Pools has poor work performance and did not follow through on pool warranty Internet, Internet
We have over 40,000 dollars invested in our San Juan pool and hot tub. The work performed by the company, owned by Dave Schmidt was less than quality work. After repeated attempts to contact Dave himself we have not been able to speak to him since the pool was completed in the Spring of 2011. All conversations to date have been with Nikki who works for the company.
From the completion of the pool, dark stains were apparent throughout the interior finish as well as issues with the grout in the tile work. After several attempts to have this corrected San Juan Pools has fallen short on warranty and their word. If you are considering investing in a pool I would highly recommend that you shop elsewhere and do your research.
We have lost vacation enjoyment due to the stress and aggravation of dealing with these issues when we should be spending our time enjoying our pool. We are frequently questioned by guests as to what the dark stains are in our pool. A local company that we hired to maintain our pool even commented that this is not acceptable being that this is a new pool.

The swimming pool referenced in the above complaint is NOT a San Juan Fiberglass pool. It is a gunite (concrete) pool built by San Juan Pools of Cape Corral Florida. San Juan Pools of Lakeland, Fl. Is a manufacturer of fiberglass pool shells and does not and has not ever installed gunite /concrete pool. When you read this complaint you are led to believe she is referring to San Juan Fiberglass Pools. In the complaint she also refers to warranty issues with San Juan not San Juan Pools of Cape Corral. These are 2 different, unrelated companies. Your immediate attention and correction would be appreciated
