They are LIARS!!!! They will tell you just about anything to get you in the door.

On Friday, I recieved a call from Teresa Ivie that I was approved for up to $25K with $0 down. I asked her to send it to me in writing and she emailed it to me. My appointment was for Saturday evening. I went online to see if I could find some reviews for their " Clean Slate Program " and 9 out of 10 of the reviews on Ripoff Report were negative.

I called Teresa and let her know that their online reviews were not very good and I expcect to get exactly what she told me. I emailed her and asked her what bank approved me. She didn't respond, so I called her and she said there was more than 1 bank that approved me. I asked her what was my finance rate would be and she could not give me that information over the phone.

When I went in, I never saw Teresa and the salesman was trying to get me to find a Co-signer. I told him I wasn't going burden anyone else with my problem and I am not asking anyone to cosign for me. He then brought the "Finance Director" over hoping he would be able to get to me to buy the lies they were selling.

The finance director, said that they had an approval, but there was only 1 bank that picked up my loan so I needed to put money down or get a co-signer to make them happy. I told him that Teresa said that more than one bank that approved me and nothing that he was telling me matched  what Teresa gave me in writing. I went back and forth with him for a few more mins and then did myself a favor and told them thank you for being liars and wasting my time and then procedded to walk out of the door.

I sent Teresa Ivie an email and let her know that she was a liar. I saw the reviews before I went and still went hoping that I would be different, but I wasn't. I am going to  wait a few months, repair my credit, save up a good down payment and buy what I want and not settle or even put myself in situation to even have to entertain LIARS like the ones at David Mc David Nissan!!!!

Please don't set yourself up for failure!!!

I never claimed to have great credit, because if I did, I would have never gone to David McDavid.  I was very clear in my previous statement that I needed to do some self improvement in regards to my credit, so that I would not put my self in another situation like this. I am not dumb to the fact that I contrubited to my own demise!!!!

I am able to get a loan, I just require more money down than I wanted to pay and the other option to get "around" having to put more money down is  to get a co-signer. I never said that I couldn't get financing at all.

My issue was that Teresa lied to me. When she intillay called me and said $0 down, I asked her how was she able to do that, because I was very aware of my current credit situation. She clearly stated that this was special financing and that they had already pulled my credit and that I was still approved for $0 down, which was not the truth.

If she would have told me that I was approved, but I needed $1500 cash or cosigner for the deal to fund, then there would be no rip-off, because she would have been upfornt and honest with me. The fact is.... she and I both knew what my credit was before I came in and if they couldn't or weren't going to do what they said, then that means that THEY LIED!!!! I do not live close to the dealership and waisted hours of time in travel and sitting in the dealship.

I just wanted other people to know that are in a similar sisutation as me that happens to get a call about the "Clean Salte Program"  that they should NOT expect David McDavid to provide the service that they say they will, because they are liars! If you look on Google also, you will find other people like me that expercienced the same thing. Why in the world they would lie only to waist their own time and NOT make any money is beyond me.

The fact that you don't understand why lying to a potiential customer is an issue says to me that you apparently work for the dealership or that you are a LIAR TOO!!!!...smh!

Your credit is so bad you need a co-signor.  Of course dealers try to entice you in hoping to be able to sell you a car.

Your credit was in the toilet, as you knew, and they couldn't make the deal.  What's the Ripoff, again?
