Complaint Review: David Papen

David K Papen, office address of 318 E Spring St, Neosho MO was contracted to complete a building project. David received a check for over $20,000.00 and in his contract would compleat the job within 2 months.  After 4 months, the job was never started. David never obtained any of the required city permits for the job. At the time he signed the contract he was not a licensed contractor but obtained his license 2 months later after numerous questions by us.

The city of Neosho filed criminal charges on him for operating without a license.

Upon further checking of David Papens history, we found criminal convictions on him in  Sweetwater County Wyoming on 11/19/2009. And in Missouri he was sentenced to 5 years with the Missouri Department of Corrections. Missouri Department of Corrections number 235771.

David has been involved in numerous companies in Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and currently in Missouri. Research on the companies he has started in these states, reviewed numerous law suits and investigations.

We have filed a lawsuit against David K Papen and his companies. We encourage anyone with information regarding David Papen to contact us. The case is filed in Jasper County Missouri and can be located on courts.mo.gov/casenet

This is an update to a previous report filed. The company, Omega Mod and Mr. Papen, refunded all funds back to us. The civil action by us was dismissed.

Mr. Papen did keep in communication with us thoughout this process and we were very happy with the agreement that we came to with Mr. Papen.
