This past weekend I took my daughter out to find a wedding dress. We went to David's Bridal in Nashua, NH. I am not going to lie we found a beautiful dress at a great price. The problem is the kind of coerced my daughter into purchasing a bra for $80.00 that she neither liked nor wanted. Throughout the whole time we were shopping she was very verbal about not liking the fit or feel of said bra, but the salesgirl eventually wore my daughter down and she purchased the bra. The minute the purchase was done,(I mean before my daughter even had the bag in her hand), my daughter stood her ground and told the cashier who was also the manager that she did not want the bra. It was at this point that the manager informed my daughter of the No return policy. (There was a small sign at the register but it was not in direct view of where we were standing.)

Well my daughter broke down and started crying right there because she doesn't really have that kind of money to spend on something she neither likes or will not use. The staff went from really sweet when they were trying to make the sale to treating her like dirt after tricking her. I don't know if their attitude had anything to do with us choosing to use our own seamstress for the alterations!

C'mon Smartenup - head your own advice.

The poor girl hadn't even left the store with the bra when she wanted her money back. That right there is pure evil.

David's bridal of nashua is not a rip off nor do they try and scam you. My experiences there over the years for proms semis weddings and other events have been very pleasant. They have it posted all over the place that all sales are final. They make all sales final because of people who try and scam them. For example purchase a gown and accessories wear them and try to return them. They will exchange for size and depending on the situation they will give you a store credit. All the girls there are very nice and are only trying to outfit you and your wedding party to suit your needs. It is not their fault what corporate decides. They dont make the rules so don't treat them badly just because you are unhappy.
