David W. Streets used lies and deception to extort money from friends and virtual friends and strangers on Facebook. He had 2 fine art and appraisal stores in Beverly Hills, Ca. No one but a few of his close friends knew of his criminal past. He has been incarcerated for felony and grand theft in KY. He also had a store in New Orleans, La until Hurricane Katrina. He then moved his operation to Beverly Hills, befriended a local wealthy socialite there who introduced him to her celebrity friends and became his sponsor. Mr. Streets posted on Facebook that he had cancer and his landlord had sold the condo he was renting and he needed a place to live within 48 hours. Many people on Facebook started sending him money through Pay Pal to his address. The truth is, Mr. Streets, due to his lavish lifestyle of spending, had not paid rent in several months and was being evicted. When the truth came out, people started to contact Pay Pal for a refund. Mr. Streets was contacted by Pay Pal with the complaints and unfriended those who sought to get their money back. In addition, a police report was filed recently against Mr. Streets who had been hired to sell a late celebrity's estate. Instead of returning any items not sold, he kept them for himself and refused to return the items of jewelry and other valuables. Mr. Streets manufactured story after story about  the whereabouts of the valuables until the widow of the celebrity had to go after him legally. As of this writing, no Pay Pal money has been returned by Streets, even though he stated in emails that he has returned the donations and the widow has not received her property back.

If one goes on the Internet and Googles this man, several links come up, which are posted below. Mr. Streets has a long line of criminal activity which he blames on his parents dying when he was young and untreated bipolar disorder. However, he is still conning people out of money, which leads one to believe that he either is not bipoloar or he is using a mental illness as an excuse for sociopathic behavior that is not symptomatic of his alleged illness.

Regardless, please be warned that this man has engaged and of this writing continues to engage in felonious behavior and pathological lying. He is very charming and disarming, a very dapper dresser and drives a Rolls Royce and Mercedes; no doubt bought by his ill gotten gain. His "celebrity" relationships are mostly pictures he posts on Facebook and he claims to have done charitable events with the late Princess Diana. He is also seen on the show Beverly Hills Pawn, but his ability as a verified appraiser have been questioned. In fact, it is coming to light that this man may be a total poser who has developed a persona as an art appraiser and expert when he legitimately is NOT.

Hi I just wanted to post the fact that I had spoken to David Streets many times over the phone in the past over my sister Heather Howard's huge cache of Movie Star memorobelia Iwas going to have M'r Streets handle.

I heard the cancer story from Mr. Streets himself and it did not seem to sound phony but I am not the best judge of people anyway. Just wanted to thank the people who posted the story on Mr.Streets as he sure reminded me of the Late Richard Ney he walked and talked just like him.
