Complaint Review: Davidson Brothers Indian River Fruit

This was the absolute worst customer service failure/neglect I have ever heard of regarding a business. Think twice before using this company!

Davidson Brothers treated my wife and I with willful neglect and a complete lack of customer service after our shipment of fruit was delayed 1 month. It was a shipment going out to her Grandmother and she was "guaranteed" to receive it by Christmas. When this didn't happen, my wife called to find out the status of the shipment.

In the conversation, she let the representative know she was concerned about the shipment and asked for an explaination for the delay. The representative, who claimed to have ownership in the company, took an unfriendly and unprofessional attitude with her and soon thereafter hung up on her!

This person later called back to say he was cancelling our order and didn't need any more headaches. Obviously, we weren't the only customers who experienced this from this company this season. I asked him about the service he hadn't provided and his attitude was that he didn't care about our business since he had plenty of other customers. So no product, no service, and no professionalism. Their website was very deceiving.
