Okay. I didn't get scammed. But here's why not. At least I haven't been yet. I've had my idea under lock and key for fifteen years and have ever only let it out to this company. Now, I am writing here to help document and prepare for the future when I fully expect them to steal it, unless I can bring it on first. I need help. Honest help. This product can be produced for pennies and save thousands of lives every year around the world.

So, here's my story:

Sent in product concept. Received call three weeks later instead of three days and arranged a call for the following week. Arrived at the call after having done a belated search on the company. Ouch! That's when I found this site and read a report. Thank goodness or I might not have been strong enough to stand up for my self.

The company representative sounded to be on a script from which he could not/would not vary. He told me to lend forth on my idea and he would take notes 'so he could see things from my perspective.' If I were he I would have had a conference system set up with white board and scribes. That is, if this is legitimate.

His bulldozing manner tipped me off; so, when he finished explaining how things would be I agreed with a caveat: he first explain their process to me. I wanted to first be able to see things from their perspective. I wanted to first determine if a relationship opportunity existed or if we part company immediately. He refused and we pursued a fruitless argument as he continued to attempt to bend me to his will by speaking over me, useing a stern tone, sales questioning techniques, and manipulative language. I informed him this was not a negotiable item and he continued to attempt to bully me until I hung up.

He called back. I told him that I would not interface with him any further and hung up.

He called back.

I informed him that one more time was harassment and was shaking as I hung up.

He called back.

I answered saying I will hang up if this is he. He spoke. I hung up.

He called back. He spoke. I hung up. No call.

Minutes pass. Phone rings. Sean Jones. Immediate supervisor to Mr. Walbert.

We talk. No apologies. No attempts to win my business. I want my information returned and wiped from all memory spaces. He tells me:

Mr. Walbert was alone in his office, leading me to further suspect their motives did not favor doing business with them.

He would hold my materials in his office and return them to me in the self-addressed stamped envelope I send to him. What's that about? Counting on my not sending it.

He also told me that they are an international company and focused on problem solving not solutions. Therefore, if any of their divisions or another customer comes forward with the same or a similar idea they will pursue it.

We hung up after a verbal agreement that all record of my ideas would be stricken from their database and no electronic or paper copies shall be maintained or shared by the company or any person associated with the company.
