When we switched IT service companies from Davovi LLC, despite the fact that they agreed to overlap with the new provider for a 2-week period, Kurth Bemis refused to cooperate with them, first citing concerns over being paid and then by refusing to respond to any communication from them or us despite all bills having been settled.

They had represented to us that our website had been moved to our server, but when we made the switch, we discovered that our website was, in fact, on a server in a different country in an account that was in the control of Kurth Bemis.  THat server had all our website software and all the data associated with a custom customer relationship management program that Kurth was paid several thousand dollars to develop.  So, all conversations and orders for customers over 4 years were lost to us as we were never able to obtain the software and associated data back from him.

We even tried to get him to respond to a consumer complaint through the Vermont Attorney General's program for consumer advocacy and he ignored them as well.

The only motive for doing this as far as we can tell is malice or reprisal for switching service providers.  Or, perhaps he intends to sell our sales/service information to our competitors.
