I still don't know exactly who I am reporting (another harbinger of a scam), but I do know that my friend was close to committing to something that would rip her off. It all started with an interview, the managers of the company (at that time it was DB Allen) told her that she was managment material. They set her up with another day long interview. Eventually, she was told, she would have her own firm, accountant, lawyer, and sales force with team leaders to do all the work for her.

At first I thought this was great! However, when she described the levels of management and organization of the business to me, I became a bit skeptical. Having QUALIFIED experience with business particularly in the realm of marketing and organizational trends, I did a little research.

Sure enough, as with most "pyramid scams" they had no record with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). This is primarily due to the rapid name changing and even more quick location change, as well as the legal defense of independence from the "parent company." I ran the numbers given to me by this so called "business" and found that they operate under a deceptive mathematical impossibility. The amount of unadalterated Revenue coming in is less than Net Operating Expenses, that's not even including the non-operating expenses that any normal. legitimate company would incurr.

Thus, I have concluded beyond a doubt that any of the "businesses" associated with this operation are most definately illegitimate. Further, I would fore-warn anyone considering membership in such an organization, that you may be entering into a business where damages for management positions, could total at the end of the first year in operation, roughly in seven figure terms. Consequently, you could be personally responsible for footing the bill of millions of dollars at the end of your first year. However, my opinions are just that...opinions. They should be taken lightly and you should do research for yourself to make sure that your decision fits your taste.

I hereby disclaim any and all research presented in this article as speculative, and having no position to populate real projections, I disclaim all opinions presented to the pure meaning of the word in common usage converse to that of accounting "slang."

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
