I did a lot of research on a dance pad that would not require the use of a gaming system for my 10 year old niece. In other words, can be plugged directly into t.v. The one from ddrgame.com sounded the best with the most songs. Bearing the original name of Dance Dance Revolution I thought it must be the best.
The product was horrible. With 15 of us watching my poor niece try it on Christmas, I was shocked at how difficult and cheaply the game performed. The graphics were terrible, too. Picture kept scrambling as if there was a short in the electronics. A 3-year old child walked in front of the game and instead of it unplugging from the t.v., two of the prongs broke-off inside the t.v.!!!
I checked the website's return policy and it is terrible. They issue an RMA# that is only good for 10 days and cannot be extended or reissued. I can't be the only person that would have a hard time getting to the post office immediately with three small children and a husband that travels! If it is not rec'd within 10 days, no return! Oh, and did I mention a 2O% restocking fee? Soooo, I will have paid $8.62 for shipping initially, whatever shipping costs to send it back and I will have approximately $6 deducted from my $29.99 refund.
I guess it's worth the (maybe) net $8 I'll get refunded to prove a point...that is IF they receive it in 10 days. Buyer beware with this company!
