Today I traveled the 3 hours from Denver to the San Louis Valley to complete my once a winter checkup on the summer house, as I only spend summers there. The house was fine and I spent the night and planned on heading back up to Denver this morning only to be surprised by the DeLuca gas truck comming up the driveway. The suprise came from the fact that I always prepay and fill my tank in the fall, and never have them deliver randomly...Ever.

The driver got out of the truck and told me he was on my property to SHUT OFF service that was prepayed for! I dug up the receipt for the payment and made him leave! They would have destroyed my house! Broken pipes! Mind you both my phone numbers they have on file! I called the office and at first was met with hostility! I presented my receipt number and heard a quick apology... For what would have been a 30-50 thousand dollar mistake in damages!
