Complaint Review: De-phones Gmbh

Don't be suckered in to the incrediby good deals offered on de-phones.com - its all a fake!!! This company claim to be based in Dortmund, Germany, and sell mobile phones to the world over via the internet.

What lead me to believe this is:
1) The prices are too good to be true - SGH-D500 for US290 - yeah right.

2) They claim to be in Dortmund (Germany) but give a +41 number (switzerland). To confirm this suspicion I tried ringing the number - it's bogus.

3) I dont know of any german based company who don't first offer their website in German. This site is purley in English.

3) Clicking on any of the banners that suggest many possible secure payment methods, links you back to the companies homepage. When you email them about payment methods they tell you they will only accept Western union transfer (good for US and Canadian residence only), but somehow they claim to be sell to anywhere in the world????????

4) They offer free postage anywhere in the world no matter how small the purchase. Nobody does this.

5) The website/company has been only established for 1 month, yet is incredibly professional and has an absolutly huge range of phones.

6) A legit website selling phones is usually covered in desclaimers and legal jargon - this isn't. You just pick your phone and give them the money. No "yes I agree to this or yes I agree to that" questions.

I didnt get burned by them, but its pretty obvious that this is all fake. Beware Everyone!!!!
