Complaint Review: Demetrius Alexander Roberts

It has now been over 10 years of no payment for child support. I did a search on the internet for IL inmates and found him in jail earlier this year for drug possession. He was parolled after a few months. He has lied to his payroll officer regarding his address and did not show up to yet another court date regarding our child. I am now at the end of my rope. I will continue to pursue getting what we deserve. However, he is a hard one to track. He has been sighted still in Elgin IL. Please do not consider having a relationship with him. He is an irresponsible, gang-banging, drug addicted, disgusting individual. He is very slick and smooth and he will take advantage of you.

I did some searching on the internet and may have found another child. A Demetrius Alexander Roberts was taken to court in Cook County, IL for paternity. So now there are 2 confirmed children and 1 possible. All by three different women. I did not find out about any of these children until my daughter was 2. I feel ashamed that I was so blind. He lives with Lisa Alvarda in Elgin IL. That is the last that I have heard any news. Also, he has told this Lisa that he had sent money and books and other gifts. We have not received anything from this man since her 2nd birthday. However, his family has sent a package of items 3 times, but not for many years. My daughter always received the gifts. He lies and will continue to lie to get what he wants or sympathy from others about how bad I am for not letting him see his daughter. I lived 25 minutes from him and he never called or visited. It wasn't my responsibility to make sure he contacted us. Quit passing the buck D. Take some responsibility. Life will come back around and get you someday.
