Dealer.com a company in Burlington Vermont that builds automotive websites and sells Google Adwords and other Digital advertising services, continues to cheat the employee's that work there. This year the Burlington Free Press published an article about the Federal Wage and Labor investigation that went on for over 2 years. " The company, which makes, websites for auto dealers, erroneously classified employees who held jobs doing inside sales, clerical support, technical support and account management as being exempt from overtime pay Labor Department spokesman, John Chavz said".

After years of not paying overtime employee's were paid a paltry one time " I am sorry I screwed you" payment.  Employee's that speak up are routinely fired creating a culture that keeps everyone afraid as jobs are tough to be had. Many employee's were owed in the tens of thousands in back pay but were given  back payments of under $2000. No effort was ever made by the company to pay employee's the monies actually due. While Mark Bonfigili wants to make it appear it s a great company with great benefits he cheats the employees of their pay to make it happen.   One manager was overheard to state that the Federal Wage and Labor laws were " old and stupid".   The company perpetuates unfair labor practices by firing anyone who speaks up and requiring all employees to sign statement that they will not discuss their salaries, a violation of the National Labor Relations Act.

Dealer.com we challenge you to clean up your act, follow the law,  and do the right thing.
