DEALER FUNDING CRESENT BANK DEALER FUNDING AND CRESENT BANK ARE A HUGE RIPOFF COMPANY ATLANTA, Georgia
This is a program set up for you to fail. You first get financed by Cresent Bank then after a few payments you account is sold to someone else. In my case if was sold to a Company called Peak 5. For some strange reason Peak 5 was closed overnight for Accounting problems. My Accont was then sold to Dealer Funding. The Orginal contract was for 36 months and I have made over 42 payments, and they still said I was behind. The company will never tell you what your balance is, they always say that, this information is unavailiable. It took me 1 year to get a payment history, and when I did, it showed several things. It showed the Vehicle had been paid for according to the orginal contract, and it also showed where payments were REVERSED and applied in a different manner so interest would add up. The orginal balance after down payment was $8,260. And that was on 9/28/07. And after 42 payments they would not tell me the Balance. They then came and repossed the vehicle and told me it would be over $2,000 dollars to get it back. And again they would not give me a payoff amount, they said that information is not availiable. All of the coupons in the payment book have been used. There is a Class Action Lawsuit that has been filed concerning this company and how they do business. When they finish with you, you can't pay the balance because they won't tell you what it is. Then like other customers your vehicle is Repossed. They are the nastiest people in the world when you try to talk to them. They will hang-up in your face, call over and over again and will not listen to anything you have to say. There are way too many complaints about this company doing business like this and I am another victim.
