Dealpass AP9 Monthly charge shows up on credit card bill yet never registered, Ripoff! Omaha Nebraska
Two Mastercard bills ago, a charge for $11.95 showed up billed from AP9. This turned out to be Dealpass. After several calls, we reached them and they told us that they received authorization from Orbitz to register us.
I hadn't used Orbitz since November and only that one time in the last 10 months. Orbitz claims I must have accepted the Dealpass registration by typing in my email address on the Dealpass offer on their website. I couldn't find it on the Orbitz website anywhere.
I would never sign up for such a deal, much less forget that I did.
Again the charge showed up this past bill even though Mastercard had told us they would be removing it. We talked with their Fraud Dept. this time.
Dealpass is stealing email addresses somehow. It is a SCAM!
