I purchased a 2003 Mazda Tribute from Deals on Wheels in November. The same night I bought the vehicle, the engine light came on. Took it back the next day and had the o2 sensors replaced. Rode around for a little while, engine light and brake light came on and I smelled burnt rubber. Took it back again, was advised that brake fluid was low and the topped it off and sent me on my way again (magically they didnt smell the rubber). So two weeks ago, car started smoking like a chimney, I instantly called DOW and told them about it. They had me bring the car in, diagnosed it to find out the oil separator was leaking and needed to be replaced. They advised me that they would call me with an estimate and order the part. Yesterday I got so frustrated with the smoking (which was the burnt rubber smell thta I originally smelled) and the fact that the car doesnt hold any oil, that I and my fiancee drove to DOW and spoke with the manager. They had me take the car to service, and they checked it out, magically something else is wrong. It needs an oil gasket, 2 hoses and a breather, all totaling a whopping $444 and some change. Wonderfully, the vehicles warranty expired 3 days ago (GO FIGURE) and those pieces weren't covered under the warranty (BS). I am currently paying DOW 316.00 per month for this piece of JUNK, not behind, dont owe them anything! They are not willing to fix my vehicle and add it into my payments, nor are they willing to provide me with written receipts showing the prices of these pieces. I happened to look online at AUTOZONE and the pieces all together dont even total $100, so they are really trying to rip me off. The people that work there are very rude, they dont know how to conduct business and their customer service is terrible. I asked for the owners email and guess what, they gave me a false e mail. NOT THAT IM SUPRISED. I contacted a lemon law lawyer, they advised me that the vehicle was out of the stature DE but I could contact the attorney generals office and take them to small claims court. I am actually trying to trade the vehicle in so I dont have to deal with these JERKS anymore. FYI TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A CAR, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO DEALS ON WHEELS, DO NOT STOP AND DO NOT LOOK AROUND. THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS THAT WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU A PIECE OF JUNK IN RETURN.
