Dean Long advertised a local Pizza Shop for Sale and after I was informed that the business generated $145,000 a year in gross sales I placed an offer to purchase. ( I have signed documentation with MR. Long's signature on this statement indicating that this business was generating $145,000 a year in gross sales, and that if proof of earnings weren't produced my deposit would be returned.)

Mr. Long then convinced me to give him and his company a $5,000 deposit and to give the owners a $30,000 deposit. Yet Mr. Long and Century 21 along with the owners of the Pizza Shop could only produce documentation and proof of earnings for this business totalling less than $70,000 per year. I asked Mr. Long for my deposit back and he took me into a vacant office, got up in my face and told me, " I will die before you get your deposit back." Then he ushered me out of the office.

This guy is the scum of the earth and I hope that he has his license revoked for ever. I would also like to meet up with him in a dark alley one night. If ever there was a bad agent then Mr. Dean Long of Century 21 Montague Canale of Southampton, Pennsylvania would be one of the lowest forms.

Furthermore, it turns out that this bogus business has the owners filing for bankruptcy.

I am out $35,000 from this MR. Dean Long of C21. He also tried to scare me by telling me the owner of the Pizza Shop was an Aryan Brother and that the Aryan Brothers thought that the Germans were the Master Race "and they hate JEWs " Just another scare tactic.

Mr. Long should be held accountable for this transaction, since he was the agent handling this. If he cannot go to settlement with a Pizza Shop generating $145,000 per year in sales, then he should be repsonsible for the money to be returned. You cannot keep my money without delivering the business that I put money towards. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN.

Report to the Realtors. Something like this makes it look bad for all other agents.

I am a real estate agent and have never heard of anyone giving the owner and not the agent the down money unless the owner was selling his business on his own. Something like this makes it look bad for all other agents. I hope this helps you.

There should be a real estate licensing bureau in your state. Contact them and advise them that you have been ripped off. Request that they take action immediately against this real estate agent and the company he works for. Good luck.
