On Saturday, March 12th, 2016 my husband and I purchsed products from Jonathan Kalderon with El Cosmetics/Global Retail at a professional trade show in Chicago for which an entry fee is required to get onto the sales floor. At first we attempted a purchase of $212.50 on our Discover card.  The salesman continued to try to sell more product, I told him that I have allergies and sensitivities and I had to be careful.  He applied the product to my face anyway and it seemed to have no ill effect, so we attempted an additional purchase of $850.00 on the same Discover card.  That charge was rejected, so to complete the sale we provided our Chase (Southwest) credit card.  Chase fraud department rejected the

charged and sent me a text at 3:16 PM stating "Did you use card enging in 2836 for $850.00 at a cosmetic store on 03/12? If YES reply 1, NO reply 2."  I replied "Yes" and received a response from Chase.     Discover denied the charge but flagged the payment as fraud. So I gave them our Chase Southwest card to make the purchase. No problem. While that was processing the saleman was telling me about another product that they have. I told him that I have a problem with products due to allergies and I had to be careful. I bought the products. My Chase card at first declined the charges as fraud and texted me about possible fraud. I approve the charges and left the show. Within the hour of the application

my face was red and aggrevated. Being Diabetic any skin issue can turn into a major medical problem. Long story short, when I came home from the Hair show and checked  my Credit cards to see the amount of money I had spent at the show. My Chase account showed the appropiate charges of 212.50 and 850.00 dollars. My Discover account showed the purchases also. I called my Discover account and said that the purchase were a mistake and they put them into dispute.
The next morning I checked my emails and saw the credit card receipt that I signed at the show from the merchant. The receipt stated that I had 24 hour to return the product. Also that they charge a 25% return fee. That was NEVER

DISCLOSED on the tablet I signed. I thought that  I was signing for the credit card purchase. Beware of Clover as a credit card processing company.......Of all the time I have used other merchant charge card services I have never seen this fraudulent attempt at imposing policy. I called the merchant with the number that was on the receipt on Sunday 3/13/2016 and spoke to Lior Hanson, who told me that it was to loud to hear at the show and that he would have someone call me at the end of their day.

Now I missed the availability to return the product based on their policy. At 5:34 P.M. Jonathan emailed me instructions on how to apply the products, then he called me afterwards. He had my phone number, I told him that I had a reaction to the product and that I wanted to return it. I told him I was willing to bring the product back to the HairShow and pay the 65.00 entry fee. This was the last day of the show.  He said he would have someone in customer service contact me. I also emailed Jonathan to advise him about the possible double charges.

On Monday 3/14/16 This was the last day of the show. Noone in Customer Service contacted me. I waited a week and I never heard from anyone. In the meantime I contested the charges with your company as fraud to protect myself until I could figure this mess out!  I found their website for the main distributor in Miami and tried to contact them from their website. I wouldn't go thru. So I called the contact us phone number and spoke to a Nicole. She advised me to try to resolve it with Mr Hanson.

On 3/23/2016 I email Mr Hanson and explained the entire story to him. He asked for my phone number so someone in customer service could contact me. No one called.

Another email to Mr Hanson on3/23/2106 I told him that I want everything in writing from here on out knowing it could be important in the future. I asked for a full refund of the 850.00 and I would mail the products back to him at my expense along with a certified money order for the 212.50 because both charges were in dispute.

On 3/24/16 Mr Hanson's email said he cannot refund me the 850.00 as it was in dispute and asked me for my number so customer service rep could call me. I emailed him and told him they can email me anytime and that I want all correspondience in writing.

On 3/29/16 I emailed him asking him again for the shipping address. No answer. On 4/05/16 I emailed Nicole and asked her for their address. I went as far while on vacation in Florida in early April, to go to both their addresses that were listed in Miami. Empty........building gutted and they still use that address on their web site even though they have updated the site recently. I have done everything I could to settle this matter. They ignore my request unless I speak to them in person and they are very versed in turning things around.

5/27/2016 Another attempt to resolve this problem. Contacted the company on their Facebook page. Gave them my phone number. The same Nicole from earlier contacted me. Nicole suggested that I remove the dispute and the company will then send me a mailing label to return the product. Once the return is recieived they would refund my money to my credit card. I called Chase and your security department suggested that I get it in writing.

06/01-2016 Spoke with Nicole again to tell her that I want our aggreement in writing via email and supplied her my email address. She replied via email that she is working on my refund. No promise was put inwriting..........

5/2016I have filed complaints with the Illinois States Attorney,Federal State Attorney, Las Vegas BBB and Miami BBB.

8/20/2016 I have since learned the this company is no longer liscensed in Las Vegas either my being deliquent in renewal(since 2013) or because their liscense was revoked. Their business address in the e-reciept is a rental in a residental district. This is a Ghost business. The Main company in Miami is claiming that they have no involment but as a manufacture of the product with the Miami BBB.

Nicole needs to be stopped

#2Consumer Comment

Sat, December 03, 2016

I had the same experience with Nicole as well as recently as November 22, 2016. Fortunately, the amount of my purchase was $548.05 with taxes and I was also told not to return the products to the store until I heard from her. I am usually not a vengeful spiteful person but my feelings for the tactics of this company and other companies associated with UHI Cosmetics are much, much worse than crooked and inhumane. I did report my experience to my credit card company but just received word from them yesterday that they had attempted to prove a case for me but because my products were not returned within the 7 day return period that I was denied and was responsible for the charged amount.

Isn't there anyone out there who can stop these people who lie, deceive and ultimately cost us these exorbitant amounts of money with the advice we are given??

With the amount of companies under UHI Cosmetics trademark surely we should all be able to harass this company enough to at least get the companies shut down so others do not obtain the same bad advice from this Nicole (phone number 305-627-9370 ext 318 cell phone number 305-343-4661) I hope they are stopped soon.
