Complaint Review: debt elimination services

I went to the Wilsons in 2009 for debt couseling. I was promised that they would stop collection calls and erase my debt as well. They said they would handle all collection calls thru this device called a DANN unit that forwards calls to them . I had about 20,000 debt and paying on a schedule to AMEX CAP ONE . they told me to stop all payments and the cc companies just charge off balance and do not sue in small claims.

I paid up front 1,000 and then collect  eft for almost 300.00 

total over 3,000.They never stpped the collections and I was sued  for 8,000 . A judgement lien was placed on my home and Iwas told that laws changed after hiring them. Seriously???

I was told I need an attorney who was also part of their office  Theresa DEGRAY. She charged me 500.00 to investigate and remove liens. She talked me into filing chapter 7 bankruptcy  and charged me another 2400.00  

After the bankruptcy was discharged ,I found out the liens were never removed and she didnt include all the debt on the petition 

I tried to sell my home in 2015 and found this out.  Whrn I contacted her  she is no longer associated with DES and never respondedto my issue. I had to hire another attorney for950.00 to reopen the case as resolve the liens  

Stay away from this  place It is a family scam
