Complaint Review: Debt Relievers

Debt Relievers Inc Service Agreement bill consolidation Ripoff Scam

  • Reported By:

This company e-mailed me an application for bill consolidation. I requested a quote. the terms were so favourable that I signed a contract even though I was not in arrears. Guess what? The monthly payment they quoted on the service agreement is not binding and I will be stuck paying what ever my creditors will agree to.

For referring me to the non-profit organization who are actually negotiating for me, Debt Relievers has charged me $167.00.

They have promised they will return it to me when I have completed the program though. LOL

Brian: In my experience the BBB is worthless. Who are you kidding? They don't investigate anything or anyone. Most BBB offices have numerous telemarketers, but only a couple of investigators. They use their resources to protect member businesses, and to extort money from non-member companies. Thanks to the BBB, I am out a lot of money. I relied on them a few times, and ended up getting ripped off due to their satisfactory rating system which was nothing but a BIG lie!

Since I was ripped off AFTER using the services of the BBB, I contacted the New York State Attorney General's Office for help. Guess where they referred me? Here! They basically told me that RipoffReport.com was one of the best consumer protection agencies in existence. Now, when I am unsure about a business, I come here. Not only do I get to read consumer complaints, I get to see how companies respond to being reported. In my case, RipoffReport.com helped me to get all of my money back.

Your response shows that you are a business to avoid. Instead of attempting to rectify a potential problem, you decided to bash the site and the consumer. What purpose did that serve? You certainly showed no interest in resolving the issue. If anything, your response just make you look bad. Now, everyone knows to stay away from you!

Next time Brian, why not just post a rebuttal and let us hear your side? Or at the very least, provide the consumer with your contact information? You should be ashamed.

As far as filing a report about the war, go ahead. You libbies just don't know when to quit. It is time for you to admit that you were wrong. Our President, the best to ever bless this nation, annihilated one of the worst dictators in history. So go ahead, publish some more hypocrisy; I'll be here to rebut it.

Thanks Rip-off Report!!

I think that if this client had a legitimate problem with our company we would love to resolve any issues. This web site neither called us to determine weather or not the situation was real or not. If thats the way this web site works maybe I'll write a complaint about our goverment and why we're at war! At least the BBB investigates problems. This web site is a Ripp off!!!!!!!!!!!!!
