Debticated Consumer Counseling failed to render services for payment made deceptive company Huntington New York
I contacted Debticated in the middle of May because my credit card payments had become more than I could bear and the thought of my good credit being ruined was frightening. The counselor I spoke with, a Mr. Larry Kunz, was very helpful and understood my situation completely.
After submitting to him my account numbers and the contact information for my creditors, he assured me that Debticated would assist me in getting back my good credit. He had already spoken with all of my creditors and, acting as my representative, had gotten them to agree on payment amounts that were more easily managable for me.
All that was left for me to do was hand over my checking account number so he could draft the first payment directly ( as a sign of good faith) and then dispurse it among the creditors on my behalf. I was soooo relieved!
One can imagine my shock at receiving several phone calls from each of these same creditors up to 14 days after the draft had taken place. When I attempted to contact Mr. Kunz, I was redirected to customer service ( an automated system...of course!) which asked me to enter my social security number as a means of identifying my account. SURPRIZE! My ssn was invalid and therefore I was unable to obtain any information regarding my account.
I then decided to contact my creditors directly, which is when I discovered that none of them had heard anything from Mr Kunz. I am currently trying to get my money back.
If this has happened to you and you have any info that might be helpful, please email me through the rebuttal key.
