Complaint Review: Deep Sea Cosmetics

Deep Sea Cosmetics Purchased product. Tried to return less than 23 hrs. later. Would not give refund. There was no signage nor did they tell me prior to purchase that they did not take refunds. Receipt that I signed did not have no refund printed on it. Fort Myers Florida

I purchased skin care at a Deep Sea Cosmetics kiosk at Edison Mall. I tried to return in less than 24 hours later. I was told that they do not make refunds. They had no sign posted to this fact. They did not tell me this a time of purchase. They did not have it printed on the receipt I signed.

According to Florida Statute this practice is illegal.

501.142 Retail sales establishments; preemption; notice of refund policy; exceptions; penalty.

The Edison Mall office told me that had received many complaints toward this company. The credit card company told me they had received many complaints toward this company.

My research shows that they have had many complaints mad toward them in small town malls and well as large city malls. For the sake of the consumer and the health of the malls (which many are struggeling), can't we get these sourges out of the malls. They are illegal and still taking victims money.
