Received an ADT Home Security mailer detailing free equipment. However, it will cost you $798 to install it. I had 3 days to cancel. I cancled the next day via faxed form provided in email downloads. Defender Security came out to remove the system. Asked me "what can we do to make you happy with this service?"  I replied cut the price in half.  The rep. (Monte) stated he got on the phone with the home office and was to reduce the cost by $370 for a total price of $428 roughly. 

My account was debited $798. No clue who Monte spoke with but this company lied about intall costs, lied they would adjust the install cost and will not return calls.  Kathy George @ 317-715-3558 in accounting I am told by the 877-245-4981 escalations operator is/was supposed to respond. 

I let them know I am contacting the Indianapolis Attorney General's office (317-232-6201) as well as Florida Attorney General's office.
