Complaint Review: Del Pueblo Homes Corp

Dell Pueblo built our new home two years ago, since then we have had all kinds of major problems. For instance, a garage shelf that they built into the wall separated from the wall and damaged my car, washer, dryer, & water softner; but the contractor will NOT have any of these items fixed, repaired, or replace, they won't even fix the shelf and resecure it to the wall. The ceiling fan in the master bathroom is rusted all over and they stated that it is a normal wear and tear item and should be repainted by the home owner every year.

I have never had to repaint a ceiling fan before in any of my previous homes, but yet this contractor states that it is very common. Also, the contractor put a hole in my garage ceiling three weeks ago and still has not repaired it, saying that a subcontractor will be getting intouch with me some time. The whole time that this is going on, we have our condo on the market. The condo is great, but getting the contractor to following through on repairs per the contract is like pulling teeth.

Having Del Pueblo implement repairs should not be this difficult and time consuming to only later hear them say "Nope, sorry that is normal wear and tear!"
