I drove all the way from Georgia to purchase a car from this dealership and the first week that I had it, the airbag light went on and an alarm sounded, every time I drove it. SO I drove it back to Florida 600 miles just to be told "We can't duplicate the problem" Well, back to Georgia where it happened the whole way back, took it to a dealer there and was told that I should have not been driving the car this way and they should have seen the problem immediatley.

Since then I have moved to Florida and have had nothing but problems. I think that the service department is causing them so they can have plenty of work to do. I had it in for a vibration and was told the popular- can't duplicate the problem. But when the recall came down they somehow found the problem. Very soon after, my power door locks stopped working. Had them check it out and what they told me was totally wrong, so I told them I'd have it fixed somewhere else.

I was having problems with my transmission slipping and they could not duplicate it. A couple of weeks later, I was turning out onto the highway and BANG- car wouldn't move 1 wk later I had to buy a new $3000 tranmission. Lucky I didn't get into traffic before it quit or I would have been roadkill!

My ignition has gone bad at only 38,000 miles. I recently had it at the dealer for a cable in the rear window and right after that my air conditioner quit and my car stalls at a stop or when it is idling in park. This is too coincidental to ignore, something always goes wrong after it's been at DeLand Service Department, again I think they are lining up a lot of future work for themselves and I'm probably not the only one.

Deanna,

I've bought a new car a year ago and it took 11 months to get rid of the majority of the wheel shimmy I had with my car. Had the rotors replaced (at 50 miles), one tire replaced (broken belt at 50 miles), rotated and balanced tires multiple times, a 4 wheel alignment after all four tires cupped on the inner tread, then all four tires were replaced and balanced -

Ultimate cause - the dealer did not know or how to balance the tires or had faulty technician(s) or equipment in doing so....it took another dealer to figure out the tires weren't balanced correctly and after the other dealer balanced the tires the problem was resolved...

Moral of the story - go to a different dealership and see if the problems continue or whether it is truly a problem car, even if it's inconvenient to go to another dealer.
