Complaint Review: Deleta Henry at the Lefrak Organization

Deleta Henry went from sorting and organizing piles of garbage to concierge. Apparently her employer considers garbage duty sufficient training for someone to become a concierge dealing with tenants. This Deleta Henry spends time badmouthing tenants to the postman who hangs around the building lobby virtually every day, as well as other workers in the buildings.

She is a troublemaker who thinks it is beneath her station to take garbage from tenants while she was on recycling duties at the Brussels building before management decided she is capable to represent them as a concierge. On several occasions she showed bad form, once asking a tenant "What do you want me to do with that?" when a container with paper and another with plastic items for recycling were handed to her. Imagine that! There is an endemic problem in the United States today, that is the lack of civility and humility on the part of laborers and service workers who don't know that their place is to do exactly that, to serve others.

Another occasion Deleta Henry spoke to a teen-aged tenant's son and his friends by saying "You fu--ing kids keep coming in and out!" Again spoken as a true imbecile who does not understand that her job was to simply buzz the kids in and zip that loud mouth of hers. When confronted with her actions she contacted building management and made an official complaint about foul language! When in fact it was HER foul language and negative actions, with which she was confronted!

She thought she was clever by complaining to building management right before moving out of her spot, so as to create a false history against the tenant. Too bad she picked on the wrong person Deleta Henry now has a permanent record on the Web so that anyone seeking to hire her will know that she is a pathological liar, a troublemaker and someone who should be confined to dealing with garbage and never ever to be put in a position to deal with human beings.

There is nothing worse than people who don't know their place and fail to be grateful when put in a position beyond their capacity. The writer lived at 36th and First Avenue in New York City at a building named Manhattan Place before being robbed of a three million dollar business. That was an A building with full service, we had two doormen and a concierge. That staff knew better than to yell 'Good morning so and so...' When people know their place they understand that tenants are super busy and the staff knows to speak only when spoken to.

This narcissist can be heard all the way up to the top of the building when she screams at people who parked their automobiles in the wrong place. Rather than walk up to the vehicle or making gestures to call the attention of the driver, she considers it appropriate to scream at the top of her lungs at 8:00AM or so. You can take the tiger out of the jungle but you cannot take the jungle out of the tiger.

We strongly urge anyone considering any position for Deleta Henry to keep her away from human beings. She would make a good TSA guard as her mental capacity is perfect for a role requiring rudeness and insolence as a job requirement, oh she could also do well as a token clerk.
