I bought a dell inspiron 5000 laptop. I have had problems with since the day it was delivered. I would have returned it in the first 30 days, but i left for work the days after i received it and was gone for the 30 days. My wife tried the call them and they refused to talk to her because she didn't have the computer in front of her. They would just hang up on her saying that they couldn't help.

I contiunally have had hard drive problems. It would loose vital information. Everytime i would call tech support they would tell me that it was either software or operator error. I finally had to take it to a local computer service company and found out that it had 200 plus bad blocks on the hard drive.

I had him call dell and they finally replace the hard drive but unfortunally it is starting the same problem again. I know two other people that have the same computer and have had the exact same problem. And after over a year of calls and emails we have had the usual dell circles of lies, they will do nothing to rectify the problems. I think the inspiron 5000 is a lemon from the factory and that dell should do something to rectify the situation.
