DELL COMPUTER RIPED ME OFF
I bought a high end dell server and a work station package, The server was damaged by UPS. Parts of the motherboard were rateling around inside the dammaged case as seen through the air vents.
My staff Immediatly called requesting replacement or return of the intire system . They spent 3 hours one tech. Suport guy wanted us to try and fix it over the phone we kept telling him look chunks of circut boards are shaking around inside and this is suposed to be a new computer, Were not buying a smashed system or going to try and fix it!
They after four more calls and two letters then a certified letter still havent corrected the problem, It has now been 15 plus calls, 2 letters,five certified calls, two 80 page faxes to a supervisor/ adjuster (of all of our documents concerning there non response )and aprox. two monthes later and they still havent come clean and fix the situation.
I know that I will have to hire an attourny and the supervisor has told me to have fun trying legaly. I never bought from dell before, I wes thinking of changing all 11 of our workstations over if I liked the server .
I havent told them that and of course I never will let any staff purchase a product through Dell its been hell and its just began.

Did you contact UPS and tell them that the package was damaged? I can see why Dell wouldn't want to replace it, since UPS is the ones who damaged the server.
