Dell Computer ripoff defective equipment fit for garbage, zero-effectiveness tech "support", grade "F" for customer service Round Rock Texas
I purchased about $15,000 worth of equipment from Dell for my small business. The server was defective from the get-go, and my staff and I spent hours on the phone with tech support and "customer service."
Dell sent a technician to replace multiple parts, but the problem couldn't be fixed. Dell refuses to replace the server, although all attempts to repair it have failed, and I have a 3-year warranty on the product. It is less than two months old.
Also, Dell sold us a network printer that was missing the equipment that would enable us to use it as a network printer. All our telephone and email attempts to get the equipment have failed.
I have spent hours on the phone and emailing a Dell sales manager, but he's adept at stonewalling. He alternates between ignoring my messages entirely or sending a message like "Call tech support."
I'm having trouble doing business without the equipment, but Dell has completely dropped the ball.
When I get on their website, it makes me sick to see their puffy statements about customer service.
I used to purchase only Dell products, but I'll never buy another one again!
