A few months ago, in response to t.v. ad and lies from their sales reps I purchased a laptop Dell computer. They assured me that for an added fee I would be purchasing a 1 day in home tech support service should my computer have any problems.

Dell deducted $1122.91 from my bank account and a few weeks later the computer would be delivered. It had all kind of problems for which I called for tech support. After 2 hours on hold I was connected to a telephone tech support person who would try unsuccessful to talk me through efforts to correct the problems. This was not successful and so I again requested their in-home tech support, only to be informed that Dell - had no such thing as in-home tech support. I explained that I had a few hundred dollars for just such nonexistent service but to again be informed that they had no in-home tech support.

I explained that the computer was of no value as it was and that I was, and promptly did, repackage it and sent it back with a delivery conformation returned to me.

Almost 2 months later Dell would re-deposit to my bank the amount of $769.69. They decided to keep $350. Perhaps they felt I wanted to keep their nonexistent ant in-home support services even without the computer.

I phoned Dell and after more long delays delays I was informed that Dell had no records of my purchase or return.
