Just was reading the article in my local newpaper about rebate ripoffs.
When I bought my dell computer last Sept it was to have a$50.00 rebate.

I got the computer on time but didn't have a rebate form.My thought was I'ed get the thing in the mail, well it never came and when I called Dell in Nov about it I was pushed off to about 5 different parties, finally got a supervisor by the name of Mary (nasty lady) she said my time has expired for the rebate and that it was my fault for not calling them sooner.

I wrote a letter to Mr.Michael Dell, that went unanwsered.I told him he had a fine product but that was no way to treat a customer. My feeling about the whole deal was I've bought my last dell product and tell everyone I come in contact with about the shaby treatment and that Dell is a big corp outfit that doesn't care about people after the product is in there hands. After reading the article I'm sure Dell has done this to more people.

I had read another article in the paper where people had started a class action lawsuit against them for not coming through on promised REBATES.
