I purchased a Inspiron 100 Lap Top from Dell. I used the system a total of ten times and then stopped working. This was April 2005. After over 54 hours and two months later my problem was not fixed. I purchased an extended warranty on the computer. This system also made two trip to their depot for repair in which they returned the system back in the same condition.

I was told I had 21 days to return this system and could only have a used system for the same price 1,200. I refused the used system and requested that show me where I signed a contract to that affect because I was unware of this policy. It was no where in my paperwork and they could not produce it either.

After much arguing. They agreed to switch my system with a new system and then sent me a used system. This was the corporate office that made this agreement. I sent the used system back and promptly called the supervisor six different times and she never returned my calls. I then phoned the regular number was told that the retracted their agreement with me.

I have two letters to the CEO of the company with no repsonse each time explaining to him that this is my second BAD system I bought from Dell and second negative experience.

I feel consumers should beware of Dell. I am hoping their are others out there that can speak out. I know I cannot be the only one. This is two bad experiences in two years and two bad systems.
