I signed up for a hardship repayment program through Dell Financial Services. Due to hard economic times. Dell offered a reduced interest rate for set period of time as long as you maintain the minimum monthly payments. I have followed their obligations exactly.

After reviewing my most recent credit report I noticed they have been putting in inquiries every month on the negative side of my report. They have also sent bills indicating that I am deliquent.

"Your account is three months past due and your credit privileges have been suspended. Please pay the Minimum Amount due. We have told a credit bureau about a late payment, missed payment or other default on your account. This information may be reflected in your credit report. If you have already sent us this payment, thank you"

I have all 3 statements that indicate a payement and oddly no late payment charges.

I have been calling the hardship dept at Dell 866-909-2044 for the past 4 days and all I get is a recorded message:

"This department is in a meeting, please call back in two hours"

"This deparment is currently closed. Please call back tomorrow"

Or yesterday 10/21/09 I called from work and left it on speaker phone for 1 hour with no answer.

I have even called their standard number 1-800-283-2210 and they keep transferring me to the number above and will not listen tom my situation.

Someone contact me from Dell immediately!
