Dell is the worst company I have ever had to deal with.  I purchased my computer in 2003-   I have  been paying all of my payments on time or ahead of time with the exception of a couple of times when I did not receive a statement from them. 


Today, I got my statement for this month and they say I still owe over $1200.00 for a computer that is not worth the box it was sent in 7 years ago.  I called them to see if we could come to some kind of arrangement to get me out from under this payment since I have paid thousands of dollars on this computer.  I mean, come on, 7 years  that is almost 84 months -  the money I have paid on this computer could have almost purchased a good used car for my daughter. 


That is not the only complaint I have had with Dell- the computer is crap.  Since I have had it, it has been put in the shop about 5 times- because the warranty was out.  They absolutely suck. 


I will never purchase anything else from them.  The guy I talked with on the phone told me the only way I could get out from under the computer was to pay the $1231.63 today.


I absolutely hope this horrible experience I have gone thru prevents everyone that may stumble upon this site to purchase from elsewhere.


HP or Toshiba are good brands.  I bought my daughter's laptop from them and we have not had any real issues out of it.
