I bought a Dell computer several years ago and had it financed through Dells Finances Services. I paid it off, and about 1-2 years ago, I started getting bills every three or four months for weird amounts. After calling their customer service department numerous times and being told that the account number on the letter that THEY sent me wasn't valid, about 3-4 months ago I just paid them about $50.00 (can't exactly remember) to get them off my back . . . was afraid my credit was being effected.

On Nov 25, I got another letter, for a different amount. This amount will not be paid. Dell Computer claims that DFS is a separate company, and won't help. DFS may well be a separate company, but Dell Computer needs to understand that I am in the market for a new computer right now, but it won't be a Dell, even though I have the cash to pay for it this time. Dell Financial Services is a customer service nightmare.

I would love to resolve this in a mature manner, but they will have none of that. Therefore, I have reported them to the BBB, and will continue to expose them on every legitimate consumer web site that I can find.
