Dell Home Systems - No rebate or customer service! Austin Internet
I ordered 2 computer from Dell on 12-7-2004 online. One computer had an offer for a $100 rebate. I received the computer and sent the rebate form with packing slip on 12-27-2004.
I received an email from Dell on Feb.5th saying the rebate is invalid. I called the customer service number on 2-9-2004, I was told that they are the rebate department and cannot help me with this matter. The person I spoke with is Eric. I asked for his supervisor and he hung up on me.
I called back and spoke with Owen. He asked if I just called. I said yes, and he took an attitude with me and said he could not help me. I explained that its a rebate problem, but he said I need customer service. I asked if he could pass me to that line. He said No.
Its not even the money at this point, its the very poor customer service that I received. I sent a letter to Dell, but I know I will not get a response.
Anything anyone can do to help would be great.
